While you can accomplish some pretty cool feats utilising it properly, the way you can easily affect your jump trajectory would likely have a negative impact on players. Probably closer the higher end of that range, but I think that after level 100, an inexperienced player would find more frustration than joy.Ĭharacters have a bit too much mobility in the air. If this control scheme were ever to be in a real game, level 50 and 75 is probably the sweet spot for game-feel. It fails to carry momentum properly and the lack of a crouch hurts it even more. Grinding is unfortunately pretty bad at every level. Having played more, I have a few critiques I’d like to add.
